In PPM, with the appropriate permissions, you can delete various items ranging from application items to workspaces. Your ability to delete a specific item depends on your user role and related permissions, and your relationship to the item.
What happens when you delete an item depends on the kind of item it is.
In most PPM applications, when you delete an item, the item is moved to the PPM Recycle Bin. Items moved to the Recycle Bin can be restored or permanently deleted from there. When deleting an item that is moved to the Recycle Bin, you are not prompted with a confirmation message.
The PPM Recycle Bin is available from the global Recycle Bin tab.
Note: The length of time an item is retained in the PPM Recycle Bin before being permanently deleted is configurable by your PPM Administrator. By default items are retained for 60 days.
In certain PPM applications, when you delete an item, the item is permanently deleted. When an item is going to be permanently deleted, you are prompted to confirm that this is what you want to do. Once you confirm the deletion, it is permanently and cannot be undone.
