Closing a Poll

Polls automatically close on the poll closing date or when all votes have been cast.

You can also close a poll before it automatically closes (if, for example, the majority of votes have been cast and the results are clear, or if you need to make an early decision). Closing a poll prevents any further voting.  

Note: Closed polls can be reopened at a later date if required. For more information, see Reopening a Poll.

TO CLOSE A POLL:

1. Open the Polls application.
   Note: You can also close a poll from the Workspace-level application.
2. Click the Actions icon next to the poll you want to close, then click Close Poll. A confirmation message displays.
