Declining Approval of an Item

 

Items submitted to you for approval are listed in the Approvals application. You can approval or decline any items sent to you for approval. When you decline an item, the member receives notification that you declined the item.

TO decline AN ITEM:

  1. Open the Approvals application.
  2. A list of items submitted to you for approval displays.
  3. Click the name of the item you want to decline.
  4. An Approval window opens with a message prompting you to approve or decline the item
  5. If the approval window includes the option to add comments, type your comments in the Approver Comments box.
  6. Click Decline to decline the request. The submitter is notified of your action.
