Adding a Report to the Home Tab Report Viewer

 

To display a report on your dashboard you need to add a Report Viewer to the dashboard and then add a report to the Report Viewer. For details about adding a Report Viewer to a Home view, see Editing a Home View.

After adding a Report Viewer pane to a Home view, configure the viewer by adding a report. When you add a report you specify which report the viewer will display.

To Add a report to Report Viewer:

  1. Open the Home application.
    Your Home displays its default view with an empty Report Viewer.
    Note:
    This assumes you have already added a Report Viewer to your Home view by editing the view or creating a new view. For details, see Creating a Home View or Editing a Home View.
  2. On the Home view, click No Report Selected, Click to Select Report Now in the Report Viewer.
    By default, a list of available reports in the Public Folders displays.
  3. Select a report from the Public Folders and click Select, or click My Folders to select a report from your personal folders.

    Important:
    Reports are not automatically resized to fit the Report Viewer. If you select a report with a large format, the Report Viewer will have scroll bars. You can resize reports in Changepoint Analytics if you know they will be used in dashboards.
