Configuring the Project Dashboard

Enterprise Administrators can configure the Project Dashboard to display only the elements most relevant to their workspace type. Although Admins access the configuration options through a workspace, Project Dashboard configuration is a workspace-type setting. Changes to the configuration in one workspace propagate to all the workspaces of that type. Additionally, users need the “Can Edit and Share Default Workspace Dashboards” enterprise role permission to edit the PM Dashboard. This permission is on by default for all Admins.

To remove a Project Dashboard Component:

  1. Hover over the component you want to remove. The Remove icon appears in the upper right corner.
  2. Click the Remove icon.

Once you click the Remove icon, the component disappears from the Project Dashboard for all workspaces of this type.

ClosedAdding Components to the Dashboard

To add a Component to the Project Dashboard:

  1. Click the Configure Dashboard button. The Configuration Drawer appears on the right with your current dashboard configuration.
  2. To add a Key Metric Data Box, click the Select Fields icon to view the available workspace fields available to your workspace type.
  3. In the pop-over list that appears, type into the search box to find your workspace fields.
  4. Click on a field in the list to add it to the Dashboard. You can select up to 12 fields.
  5. (Optional) Click outside of the pop-over to return to the Visible Fields list. Click and drag the fields to re-order the fields.
  6. To add the other components to the Project Dashboard, click the checkbox next to the name of the component.
  7. Click Save.

The components you selected appear on the Project Dashboard for all workspaces of this type.
