The Portfolio application is designed to provide executives
with a convenient, customizable view of all the workspaces for which they
are responsible. Your PPM administrator creates one or more custom
views for you and the view you see the first time you open the Executive
application is the one your administrator designated as your default view.
The Portfolio opens with the Scorecard view by default
but you can select two other view formats by clicking the Change
Format menu on the View Toolbar. Formats include the Scorecard
view, the Gantt Timeline view, and the Investment Map view. The format
you select remains your default format until you select a different format.
Note: You may not have access to every view or view format. Your
options are determined by your Changepoint PPM user profile and permissions, as
defined by your administrator.
Executive view formats:
- Scorecard
view—The
Scorecard view is the
default view for the Portfolio application. It lists all your workspaces and gives
you visual information about the status of each workspace. Click a workspace name to open the Profile window.
- Gantt
Timeline view—The
Timeline Gantt view
shows you workspaces in a timeline format, with each workspace displayed as
a separate bar indicating the time period that the workspace will be active.
You can configure the scale of the chart. Click a bar to open
the Profile window for a workspace.
- Investment
Map view—The
Investment Map view
gives you a graphical overview of the status of your workspaces, with each
workspace shown as a colored circle on a graph. You can configure the values
displayed on the X- and Y- axes and specify what determines the size and
color of each workspace bubble. Click on a bubble to open the
Profile window.
