Requesting a Status Update from the Portfolio Application

 

As an executive, you can request a workspace status update from the project manager.

Each status update is listed in the Status History, giving you the ability to view a log of the changing status of the workspace over time.

To request a status update from the Portfolio application:

  1. In the Scorecard view, click the Actions icon for the workspace whose status you want updated.
    The Request Status Update window opens.
  2. Type a Message to the project manager.
  3. Click Send.
    Note: If there is no assigned manager for the workspace, the Recipient listed is None, and there is no Send option. You cannot request a status update if the workspace has no manager.

A notification requesting that the status be updated is sent to the project manager, including the message you typed.
