Managing Applications in a Workspace - Deleting Applications

Users with the workspace-level Can Administer Settings permission (by default, workspace-level project managers and administrators), can delete applications from a workspace.

The applications you can delete, and what happens when you delete them, depend on what type of application you are deleting and on how the applications are included in the workspace type definition for the workspace.

Important: When you delete a workspace dynamic application, you delete both the application data and the application definition. You cannot re-add the application unless you have exported the definition before deleting the application. This is different than with enterprise dynamic applications and native applications, where you delete the application but cannot delete the application definition (and thus, it may be available to re-add to your workspace if you choose to do so).

TO delete an application from A workspace:

  1. In the workspace from which you want to delete an application, click the workspace Gear Menu and Manage Applications.
  2. Select an application to delete.
  3. Click Delete on toolbar. Delete is only enabled if the selected application can be deleted. For example, you cannot delete an application that is required by the workspace type definition, and you cannot delete the Tasks application if there is actual work logged against any tasks.

Note: Delete is also available from the Selection menu and the right-click context menu.
