Report Studio

You can add text to make a report more useful. You can insert text in other objects, such as a block or table cell, or directly in the report page.

Adding Text to a Report

1. In the Insertable Objects pane, click the toolbox tab.
2. Drag the Text Item object to the report.
   
   The Text dialog box appears.
3. Type the text that you want.
   Note: You can also paste text from another part of the report.
4. Click OK.
   
   If you click OK without typing any text, Report Studio inserts the string Double click to edit text.

You can now format the text by changing the font, color, size, and so on. Select the text and make the appropriate changes in the Properties pane.
