Report Studio
When you add objects to a report, you usually work in the
layout. From the View menu, click Page
Structure to view the report in a different way. Use the page structure
view to:
- View the entire
contents of a report page in a tree structure.
Using a tree structure is useful for locating the objects in a page
and troubleshooting problems with nested objects.
- Quickly move objects
from one area of a page to another.
If you have a complex layout, it may be difficult to select, cut, and
paste objects in the layout view. Objects are easier to locate in the
page structure view.
- Modify object
properties.
You can modify object properties in the layout or in the page structure
view.
Note: To switch back to the
report layout, from the View menu, click
Page Design.
