Query Studio

PPM Reporting supports multiple Microsoft Excel formats. Excel 2007 and Excel 2007 Data formats render report output in native Excel XML format (also known as XLSX). Note: Users of Microsoft Excel 2002 and Excel 2003 need to install the Microsoft Office Compatibility Pack to use this format.

• Excel 2007 provides fully formatted reports for use in Microsoft Excel version 2007.
• Excel 2007 Data provides data for use in Microsoft Excel version 2007. These reports only contain minimal formatting. Default data formatting is applied to the data based on data type and assumes that each column has a single data type. Note: There are a number of limitations to Excel 2007 Data output.
• Excel 2002 provides fully formatted reports for use in Microsoft Excel versions earlier than 2007.

To view a report in Excel format:

1. Open the Reports application.
2. Locate the report in your report list.
3. From the Actions menu, select Open in Query Studio.
   The report opens in a Query Studio window.  
4. From the Run Report menu, click View in Excel 2007 Format, View in Excel 2007 Data Format or View in Excel 2002 Format.
   The report opens in a new window.
