Important: The Work Entries query subject is independent of any other query subject. Attempting to include items from this and other query subjects will result in "Cross joins" errors.
Date group query items are useful for reporting trends over
time. If you include a date group item and pivot your report on that item,
you can see how something is trending over time.
Work Entry Day—
Work Entry Week—
Work Entry Month—
Work Entry Quarter—
Work Entry Year—
Work Type—The type of work. Types are Task, Non-Project and Project.
Work Item Name—The name of the work entry. Note: If the work entry is for project-level work (Work Type is Project), this matches the Project Name.
Project Name—The name of the project for which the work was done. Note: If the work entry is for non-project work (Work Type is Non-Project), this is blank. If the work entry is for project-level work (Work Type is Project), this name matches Work Item.
Resource Name—The name of the user who performed the work.
Hours Worked—The
actual approved and unapproved hours entered in the work entry.
Hourly Rate—The
hourly rate used for the work entry.
External Hourly Rate—The external
hourly rate used for the work entry.
Is Work Entry Approved—Whether
or not the work entry has been approved. Options are No and
Yes.
Work Entry Comment—Any
comment added to the work entry.
Work Entry Created On—The
date the work entry was created. This is not necessarily the date on which the work was done. Note: To see the date of the work in the work entry, use the Work Entry Day item in the Entry Date Groups.
Minutes
Minutes Worked—The
actual approved and unapproved work in minutes.
Note: IDs are included in the data model so you can join to other queries. Also, grouping on an ID can help separate different items with identical names.
