Each object in the data source has a representative icon. You can insert all of the following objects in a report, except for packages.

Package—A package contains the objects you can insert in a report.

Folder—Folders contain logical grouping of query subjects and query items. For example, Project Information.
Query items in a folder are frequently duplicated in other folders. You should not mix query items from different top-level folders within a single report. If you include data from more than one folder, your results will be unpredictable.

Query Subject—A query subject represents a table in the database.

Query Item—A query item represents a column of qualitative data in the database, such as project name or country.

Measure— A measure (also called a Fact) is a query item that represents a column of quantitative data in the database, such as revenue or quantity.

ID Field—An ID field specific to a data item.  For example: EnterpriseID.
Note:
IDs are included in the data model so you can join to other queries. Also, grouping on an ID can help separate different items with identical names.

Filter—A Model Filter created for common report filtering scenarios. Model filters may include user prompts to define the filtering parameters. For example: Project Prompt.
Adding a model filter to your report saves you the necessity of creating a filter yourself. Model filters cannot be edited, but you can create and edit your own filters.

Calculation Field—A type of Query Item that is a Calculation Field . These calculations are created by Changepoint and represent values that are often reported on. For example: Percent Vote Complete.
