Request Details Window - Overview

The Request Details window contains information about
a workspace or Request and opens when you click on a workspace name
or when you choose certain actions from the Actions icon
menu in the Requests application, or click on a workspace
name in the Team Manager application.
Important:
You must configure your browser to allow pop-up windows for your Daptiv
web site. PPM uses pop-up windows to display Item Details. If your
browser does not allow pop-up windows for the Daptiv web site, you will
not be able to access all features of PPM.
Use the profile window to view details about the workspace,
including workspace resources, associated documents, and a log of the approval
history. With the appropriate permissions you can edit the workspace profile
and resource requirements, change the list of reviewers, act on the request
(approve, decline, delete, reactivate or resubmit), upload a related document,
or generate the requested workspace. Note:
When you open the window from the Team Manager application you cannot
perform any actions.
The Request Details window includes these tabs:
- Workspace
Profile—The
Workspace Profile tab has information about the request, including the workspace
type, the name and description, who submitted the request, what the estimated
expenses are, any estimated work or cost, the planned start and end dates,
priority, budget, approval status and workspace state, and the approvers
(if any).
Note: Approvers appear only if an approval policy is defined
for the Request Type. The Daptiv administrator defines this policy
when they create the Request Type.
- Resources—The Resources
tab has information about what resource requirements have been included
with the request. Billing rates for each resource type are listed, along with cost and revenue estimates calculated using the rates and the work. The
tab also lists any reviewers assigned to the request.
- Documents—The Documents
tab lists any documents that have been uploaded and associated with the
request.
- Approval
Log—The
Approval Log tab lists every approver of the request, along with the status
of their approval, the date of their action (if any), and any comments
they may have included in an approval or decline of the request.
Note: If a workspace or an approved request is resubmitted for
approval, the Approval Log is cleared out.
- Actions—The Actions
tab lists any actions the current user can perform on the request.
Possible Actions include: Edit Workspace
Profile, Edit Resource Requirements,
Add or Edit Reviewers, Approve
Request, Decline Request,
Delete Request, Reactivate
Request, Upload Document,
Resubmit for Approval, and Generate Workspace.
This tab is not available when you open the window from the Team Manager
application.
