Selecting Resource Types in Capacity Planner

You can select the resource types you want included in the Net Availability section of the Capacity Planner using the Select Resource Types option on the View toolbar. Resource type selections do not affect the resource types shown in the Unplanned/Planned sections of Capacity Planner, only those in the Net Availability calculations.

Note: The selections you make are for the current view and persist for the view until you change them again. If you have more than one custom view, each view will have its own selection of resource types.

 To select resource types in Capacity Planner:

1. Click Select Resource Types on the List toolbar. A window displays all available resource types. Resource types are shown if there is any allocation for that type in any of the unplanned or planned workspaces.
   Note: Deleted resource types display if any workspaces (including past workspaces) had requirements for that type.
   
2. Clear any resource types you do not want to be displayed in the Net Availability section.
   (Unselected resource types will continue to be shown in the Unplanned/Planned workspace lists.)
   
3. Click Close.

Note: Selections in the dialog box do not affect the resource types shown in the Unplanned/Planned section of Capacity Planner.
