Reopening Timesheets

 

Once a timesheet has been approved, it cannot be changed or edited unless it is reopened. An approved timesheet can only be reopened by the timesheet owner's resource manager or supervisor, or the specified approver for the timesheet.

Note: If your enterprise does not require approvals for timesheets, the timesheet owner can reopen an "approved" timesheet without special permission.

TO reopen a Timesheet:

  1. Open the Timesheets application.
    By default your current timesheet displays. Note: You may have changed this default view. See Changing the Default Timesheets View for more information.
  2. Click More Views in the tab toolbar, then click Timesheets by Resource.
    A list of the timesheets for the users you manage displays.
    Note:
    You can filter the list using the Quick Filters.
  3. Click the Actions icon next to the timesheet you want to reopen, then click Re-Open Timesheet.
    The timesheet status is changed to its original state and the timesheet is sent back to the owner to update and resubmit.
