Using ProjectTransit - Subsequent Syncs

Your workflow while using ProjectTransit depends on whether you are making the first synchronization or any subsequent synchronization.

On every subsequent synchronization of your project schedules:

Task updates from PPM are copied to the Microsoft Project schedule.
Edits are copied from Microsoft Project to PPM.

Note: Schedule edits can only be made in the Microsoft Project schedule, while task updates by team members can be made in the PPM schedule. For details on edits and updates, see Task Edit and Update.

Important: While schedules are synchronized (linked), all calculations are managed by Microsoft Project. The PPM scheduling logic is not used.
