Administrators can create billing rates to be assigned to users, external resources, tasks, and workspaces.

When you create a billing rate, you provide a value for the rate, as well as giving the rate a name and choosing a rate category. Note: You can give a rate any name, but you should give consider to how you intend to use rate categories and rate names before you begin creating billing rates. For more information about rate categories, see Managing Rate Categories.

Active billing rates can be assigned to resource types, users, and external resource. For more information about assigning billing rates to resource types, enterprise users, and external resources, see Assigning Billing Rates.
