Creating a Dynamic Application - Field Properties

 

The Field Properties tab enables you to specify which dynamic application fields require user input. Users must enter information in required fields. You can also specify which field names are included as column headers in the dynamic application List View screen.

To create a NEW Dynamic Application - field PROPERTIES

  1. On the Field Properties tab, select Required next those fields that require user input.
  2. Select the List Header check box next to any fields you want to include as columns in the dynamic application Folder View. The Folder View is listed on the Workspace Menu.

    List Headers are included in notifications sent as a result of any application workflow rules configured at the workspace level. For more information, see Workflow Notifications for Workspace Applications.

    Note: This list header option does not affect what fields you can select for display on the customizable <app item> List view. For more information, see Customizing Editable Item List Views.
  3. If you added a Status field to the dynamic application, click the Status Fields tab to continue.

  4. If you added a Calculations field to the dynamic application, click the Calculations tab to continue.

  5. If no Status or Calculation fields were created, click the Permissions tab to continue. See the Permissions topic for more information.
