Creating a Dynamic Application - Status Fields

The Status Fields tab in the Create Dynamic Application wizard enables you to define options for a status field that was added to the dynamic application in the Data Field Selection tab.

When an item is created with the dynamic application, users can select the status of the item from the status field. For example, for a dynamic application designed to track issues, available status options might be Open and Resolved.

CREATING A DYNAMIC APPLICATION - STATUS FIELDS TAB

On the Status Fields tab, type a name for the first status option in the first text box.
In the Icon Options box, select an icon to assign to the status option.
The icon will identify the status of items in the dynamic application item List View screen.
Click Set Icon.
The icon is added to the Icon column next to the status option.
Repeat this procedure to define additional status options.
To add more status options, click Add More.
To set the default status of items created with the dynamic application, select an option in the Default column.
To clear the default status option, click Clear Default.
If calculation fields have been added to the dynamic application, click the Calculations tab.
If calculation fields have not been added to the dynamic application, click the Permissions tab.
