Administrators and managers can edit existing dynamic applications.
Administrators can edit enterprise dynamic applications while workspace-level managers can edit workspace dynamic applications.
To edit
an enterprise-level Dynamic Application:
- On the Administration Home
page, under Applications, click the Application.
A list of all standard and dynamic applications displays.
- Click the name of the dynamic
application to edit.
The Application Details screen appears.
- Click Edit
<application name>.
The Dynamic Application Wizard opens.
- Edit those application details you need to change:
- Select Enable
Enterprise Application if the application should be accessible
from a global tab.
Note: You need to do this if you imported an application and
want it to appear as a global tab.
- Select Enable
Folder View to include the ability to display a folder view of
application items in workspaces that include this application.
- Select Enable
Item Responses if you want to give workspace members the ability
to post responses to items
created with the dynamic application. Enabling item responses for a dynamic
application has the following impact to PPM:
- The Actions
menu for each application item includes an Add
Response option.
- The Item Details
window includes a Response History
tab that lists any responses made about the item.

Note: If you are changing existing fields in a dynamic application, see Editing Custom Fields.
- Do one of the following:
- To
save the changes to the dynamic application, click Save & Finish.
- To
save the edited application as a new dynamic application, clickSave as New Application.
To eDIT
a Workspace-level Dynamic Application:
- In a workspace you manage,
click the Gear Menu and Manage Applications.
A list of the workspace applications displays.
- Select the dynamic
application you want to edit, right-click and select Edit.
The Dynamic Application Wizard opens.
- Edit the application details
as necessary. For more information about the Dynamic Application wizard,
see Creating a Workspace-level Dynamic
Application.
- When you are done editing
the dynamic application, click Save &
Finish.
