Editing General Enterprise Properties

The General Properties screen displays the general properties for an enterprise. These include such configurations as time zone, currency settings, support contact information, and support message. You can edit these properties or export them as a template that can be used to create new enterprises.

TO EDIT GENERAL enterprise PROPERTIES:

  1. On the Administrative Home page, under Enterprise Settings, click General Properties.
  2. Click Edit Properties.
  3. To change the default time zone for your enterprise, select the correct time zone from the Time Zone list.
  4. To change the setting that controls how currency is displayed, select the correct Country[Currency] from the Currency list.
  5. To enable document thumbnails, select Enable thumbnails in document list view.
  6. Enable RSS Permalinks—To allow enterprise users to create RSS Permalinks, select Enable RSS Permalinks. (This is enabled by default.)
    Permalinks are unauthenticated RSS feeds and allow your users a way to give non-users a view of application data. In order to access this data, a user creates an RSS permalink in the application, then provides the link to non-users. Note: Not all applications support RSS feeds or permalinks.   7. Capacity Planning Units—To change the planning units for the Capacity Planner application, choose the new units from the Capacity Planning Units list.
    Options include Hours and FTE (Full Time Equivalent).
  8. Type an Internal Support Email address to be included in the footer of any email notification sent by PPM. The address you should enter in this field is your enterprise's internal PPM Support contact (your PPM administrator, for example).
    Note: If members of your enterprise need more support, direct them to complete the support form at https://daptiv.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/requests/new.
  9. To export the PPM enterprise settings, click Export Enterprise Configuration and follow the on-screen instructions.

  10. Recycle Bin Retention—To change the number of days items are retained before being permanently deleted from the PPM Recycle Bin, click the Recycle Bin Retention menu and select an option: 30, 60 (the default) or 90 days.
  11. To change the day the week begins, use the Week Starts On property. By default, weeks in Changepoint PPM begin on Sunday.
  12. To upload a corporate logo to use on Enterprise pages and email notifications, click the Choose File button to select an image file. Click Upload to add the image or Cancel to discard it.
  13. Click Save to save the changes to the Enterprise General Properties, or Cancel to discard your changes.
