If necessary, an administrator can make changes to an
existing request type.
To edit a Request type:
- On the Administration Home
page, under Workspace Types, click Request Types List.
The Request Types screen displays.
- Click the name of the workspace r Request type you want to edit, or click the Action icon
and click Edit Request
Type.
The Edit Request Type screen displays.
- To edit the name of the
request type, type the new name in the Request
Type Name text box.
- To change or add a description
of the request type, type the new description in the Description
text box.
- To change fields on the
Request Form:
- Select Visible
for the fields you want to appear on the request form.
- Select Required
for the fields that a user must enter when creating a request.
Required fields are automatically made visible.
Note: The fields you can choose from depend on which workspace
type was originally selected when the request type was created.

policy, see Creating
a Request Approval Policy.
Important: Changing a request type approval policy will
restart the approval process
for any pending requests of this type.
- Click Save
to save the changes to the request type.
