Request Type Overview |
A Request type is a template that defines the form enterprise users access to create their requests. The PPM administrator creates the request types in the Administrative Zone and can edit or delete existing request types.
When you create a request type, you specify such details as what workspace type the request is for, what fields appear on the request form, and what the approval policy is. For details about creating request types, see Creating a Request Type.
After a request type is created, you can edit the request type to update the name, description, fields, and the approval policy. For details about editing a request type, see Editing a Request Type.
You can delete a request type if it is no longer needed. Any existing requests or workspaces that were created from the request type are not changed. For details about deleting a request type, see Deleting a Request Type.
