Administrators can delete workspace types that are no longer
required.
Your ability to delete a workspace type depends on whether or
not there are any of the following associated with the type:
- Workspaces
You cannot delete a workspace type if there are existing workspaces (active
or archived) associated with the workspace type you are trying to delete.
Note: A deleted workspace may take up to a day to be entirely deleted. If
you are unable to delete a workspace type because an associated workspace
was recently deleted, try to delete the workspace type again in 24 hours.
- Templates
You cannot delete a workspace type if there are templates associated
with the workspace type you are trying to delete.
- Workspace
Requests
You cannot delete a workspace type if there are existing requests
associated with the workspace type you are trying to delete.
- Request Types
You cannot delete a workspace type if there are request types
associated with the workspace type you are trying to delete.
To DELETE a Workspace type:
- On the Administration Home
page, under Workspace Types, click Workspace
Type List.
A list of existing workspace types displays.
- Select the check box for
the workspace type you want to delete.
- From the Checked
Item Action list, select Delete
All Checked, and click Go.
A confirmation message appears, asking if you want to delete the workspace
type(s) you selected.
- Click Yes
to delete the selected workspace type(s), or No
if you do not want to delete the workspace type(s).
