Report Studio Browser Settings

Cognos and PPM reports can be used with Microsoft Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, and Google Chrome browsers. Reports use the default browser configurations. Additional required settings are browser-specific.

Important: This is a list of browser settings for Report Studio. For a full list of PPM Reporting supported browsers, see System Requirements for Reporting.

Note: Report Studio uses the native Microsoft Internet Explorer XML support, which is a component of the browser. ActiveX support must be enabled because Microsoft implements XML using ActiveX. PPM Reports do not provide or download ActiveX controls. Only the ActiveX controls that are installed as part of Internet Explorer are enabled through this configuration.
