About the Gantt Chart Sidebar

The Gantt Chart Sidebar gives you access to:
- Resources (workspace members)
Workspacemembers and workspace workgroups are listed in the Resources list of the Sidebar.
- Filter long lists by typing in the Filter at the top of the list. The filter is active as you type, restricting resources to those that match the string you are typing:
- Select and drag resources onto tasks to assign them:
- Baselines
Baselines created from the project schedule are listed in the Baselines list of the Sidebar.
Baselines are displayed in blue (when the current schedule matches the baseline schedule), in red (when the current schedule is behind the baseline schedule) or in green (if the current schedule is ahead of the baseline schedule).
- Display a baseline in the Canvas by clicking the baseline name:
- Remove a displayed baseline by clicking the Clear Baseline icon:
Note: This clears the baseline from the Canvas but does not delete the baseline. You cannot delete a baseline from the Gantt Chart.
- Create a new baseline by clicking the Create Baseline icon:
You are prompted for a baseline name.
Note: Your browser may block the User Prompt window. If this happens, temporarily allow the window to be displayed:
- Resource utilization (workspace members)
Select a task and toggle on resource utilization to see a graphical representation of how much a workspace member is utilized during the timeframe of the selected task.
- Click the Resource Utilization toggle (
) on the toolbar to toggle the display of resource utilization details.
- Mouse over the utilization icon for detailed utilization information:
