The global Projects tab opens a list of workspaces for project managers and other users who need to see and manage details of one or more workspaces. Click on the Projects tab to see a list of all your workspaces.
The Projects tab only shows you those workspaces you are a member of. This is true, even if you are a PPM administrator. Administrators viewing workspaces from the Projects tab may see fewer workspaces than when viewing the list of workspaces in the PPM Administrative Zone.
Note: Other similar global tabs called "portfolio tabs" also show you lists of workspaces you are a member of, but portfolio tabs are customized within your enterprise with names given by your administrator, and show a selected subset of workspaces based on workspace type. For more information on portfolio tabs, see Portfolio Tabs in PPM.
From this list you can get a quick sense of the health of each workspace, as well as see the workspace phase, the planned start and finish dates, and creator. With the correct permissions you can create a custom view of the workspaces list. For more information, see Customizing Application Views.
You can change the format of the workspace list by clicking Change Format on the view toolbar. Format options include List View (the default, displays active workspaces), Hierarchy View and Archived View. For more information about view formats on the Projects tab, see Project View Format Overview.
Click on an individual workspace name to open the workspace. Project managers can manage their workspace and team members their tasks from with a workspace:
