The Checked Item Actions menu on the view toolbar of many applications gives you a way to perform actions on groups of application items. This menu frequently duplicates options found when you click the Actions icon next to an item name, but it provides a convenient way to perform a single action on multiple items.
For example, you can use the Checked Item Actions menu to delete multiple documents by selecting the documents you want to delete, then clicking Checked Item Actions and Delete.
Note: In workspaces, the Tasks application Task List and dynamic application <Item> List views include a Selection menu that replaces the Checked Item Actions menu described above. For more information, see Using the Task List Selection Menu
