Help Search Tips and Tricks

Searching Help can return large numbers of topics. To reduce the number of topics in the results list:

• Use Boolean operators to refine your search.
  Help searching is an "OR" search by default. This means that multiple terms that are not enclosed in quotes or separated by an AND operator are searched as though each pair includes an OR operator.
  Understanding this can help you focus your search.
• Use quotes to match exact phrases.
• Use the built-in Search Filters. to focus your search on subsets of topics.
• Eliminate common words.
