When you synchronize your Microsoft Project schedule with your PPM schedule, you update Microsoft Project with task data from PPM and your PPM schedule with task data from Project.
Note: ProjectTransit does not support synchronization of nested projects.
The first time you synchronize your Microsoft Project schedule and your PPM schedule, existing data is copied from each schedule to the other.
Note: ProjectTransit does not check for duplicate tasks. If you have the same tasks in both Microsoft Project and PPM prior to the initial synchronization, those tasks will be duplicated in both Project and PPM unless you unselect them so they are not included.)
Note: Ensure the start date of the MSP project is on or before the earliest task start date for the tasks in PPM prior to initial sync.
With every subsequent synchronization, tasks in both the Microsoft Project schedule and the PPM schedule are updated to match.
