About Workspace Hierarchy

You can organize your workspaces in a hierarchy, with some workspaces as sub-workspaces of others. Sub-workspaces are considered "child" workspaces. A special view in the Projects tab gives you a view of any hierarchies you have defined among your workspaces. For more information, see Workspaces Hierarchy View Overview.

Hierarchies can be useful if you have workspaces that are related to one another or are dependent on one another, because parent workspaces inherit aspects from their child workspaces.

A parent workspace inherits its Health based on the poorest health of any child workspace(s). For more information, see About Workspace Health.

In addition, Total Planned Labor Cost, Total Planned Labor Revenue, Total Actual Labor Cost roll up from child workspaces to their parent.
