Adding Task Comments on Timesheets

You can add comments to tasks that appear on your timesheet
before you submit the timesheet. You might do so if you want to communicate
information to a project manager about the time you worked on the task.
You can also add comments to a workspace if you are working on a workspace
that is tracking time at a workspace level rather than at a task level.
Finally, you can add comments to non-project work on your timesheet.
To add task comments to your timesheet:

- By default your timesheet
for the current time period opens.
If you changed the default Timesheets view and you want to add comments
to tasks on your current timesheet, click My
Current Timesheet on the Tab toolbar.
If you want to add comments to tasks on a timesheet for a different
time period, click More Views
and My Timesheets, then select
the timesheet to which you want to add comments. See Working
with My Timesheets View for more information.
- Click the Comments icon
next to the task you want to comment on.
The Task Comments window opens.
Note: The icon is blank if there are no comments associated
with the task. If the task already has comments, the icon is filled:
. You can add comments in either case.
- Type your comments in the
window and click Save to save
your comments and close the window.
