Reporting Permissions - Reports Tab |
Access to the global Reports tab, from which reports can be viewed, run, created and edited, is controlled by permissions set for your enterprise role. Enterprise role permissions are set up by your PPM administrator, and by default access to the Reports tab is given to Administrators, Executives, Resource Managers and Project Managers. If your enterprise role has not been given access to the Reports tab, you will not be able to see or run any reports. Note: Your enterprise roles may be configured differently.
You may still be able to view reports in your dashboard. For more information on dashboard report permissions, see Reporting Permissions - Dashboard Reports.
You can have access to the Reports application (tab) without having permission to create a report. The ability to create reports is controlled by your organization's reporting licenses, and licenses are assigned to individual users (report authors). For more information, see About Report Licensing Options.
If you have access to the Reports tab without a reporting license, you can run and view public reports but do not see options for creating or editing reports.
