Use the Data Type options to reduce the kinds of data you are searching.
The option you select determines what type of data is searched.
Options include:
- All—Searches all the searchable data in your enterprise. For details on what is searched, see What Fields are Searched.
- Workspaces(the default) —Searches all the workspaces for which you have permission.
- Documents—Searches the name (title) and description of the documents for which you have appropriate permissions. Note: This option does not search the contents of the documents.
- Documents + Contents—Searches documents, including document contents, for which you have appropriate permissions.
- Applications—Searches all the PPM applications
- Users—Searches enterprise users.
Note: Your ability to search types of data and specific instances of data depend on your PPM permissions. You can only search data to which you have access. For more information, see What Fields are Searched.
