In the final step of the Custom View wizard, give the view
a name and save it.
The steps you take depend on whether you are saving a custom
view as an administrator or as a user.
TO name and save the view as an administrator:
- Type a name for the view
in the View Name box.
- Click Finish
and Save to save the custom view and close the wizard.
TO name and save the view as a Non-Administrative user:
- Type a name for the view
in the View Name box.
- If you want the view to
be your default view, select Make this
my default view.
Note: This option only applies to application views on global tabs. If you are creating a dynamic application custom view in a workspace, there is no default view. If you also have access to the application from a global tab, selecting this option will make the view your default view on the global tab.
- Save the view:
- If you are creating
a new view:
- Click Finish
and Save to save the view and close the wizard.
- If you are editing
an existing view, do one of the following:
- Click Save
a Copy to save the view as a new view and close the wizard.
Important: If you do not change the view name,
you will have two views (the original and the copy) with identical names.
- Click Finish
and Save to save the original view with changes and close the wizard.
Note: This option is not available on views that were shared with you and distributed by role, unless you are the administrator who created the view.
Note: Your ability
to edit (change) or delete views can differ depending on the view you are working
with.
- You can change or delete views you created, or views created by
the administrator and assigned by user.
- You cannot change or delete views
created by the administrator and assigned by role, unless you are the administrator who created the view.
