Reports can be created or customized for specific groups of users and can be scheduled to run on a recurring basis. The output can be emailed to PPM users and others for their review.

Who can schedule a report

A user with Write permission for a report sees the Report Schedule option from the Action menu and has the ability to schedule a report. For more information, see Report Scheduling Permissions.

Delivery of Scheduled Reports

Scheduled reports are delivered based on the universal time (GMT) conversion of your PPM user time zone. If the report is delivered to multiple users in different time zones, it will arrive at the same universal time but at different local times.

For example:

• User A is in Seattle (GMT-8).
• User B is in Amsterdam (GMT+1).
• User A schedules a report to run at 5 AM local time (1 PM GMT) and be delivered to User A and User B.
• The report is run at 1 PM GMT and delivered to User A at 5 AM local time and User B at 2 PM local time.

Note: A prompt in a report may limit your ability to schedule that report. For details, see Scheduling Reports with Prompts.
