Editing Tasks Inline (Task List)
|
The Task List allows project managers and other users with Task Edit permission to edit tasks in-line. (Team members with Update permission cannot make changes to tasks in the Task List. For more information on the difference between a task edit and a task update, see About Task Edit and Task Update.)
Important: Any changes you make to a task in the Task List view are equivalent to editing the task in the Task Details window.
Note: If a project
schedule is locked for use with ProjectTransit or has been checked out by another project manager, you cannot add, edit or delete tasks in PPM. A message displays in the grid toolbar and no edit options are available. For
more information about ProjectTransit, see ProjectTransit
Overview.

- Keyboard support
