About the Task List Toolbar

The workspace Task List includes a toolbar that provides a variety of options for working with tasks in your workspace.

Options include:

Selection
Perform a variety of actions on one or more tasks by selecting the task(s) and clicking Selection. For more information, see Using the Task List Selection Menu.
Adding tasks
Add tasks to the list by clicking Add. See Adding Tasks in the Task List for details.
Updating tasks
Update tasks to the list by clicking Update. See Updating Tasks in the Task List for details.
Deleting tasks
Delete tasks from the list by clicking Delete. See Deleting Tasks in the Task List for details.
Copy/Paste tasks
Add tasks to the list or copy tasks in the list using the copy/paste buttons. See Copying and Pasting Tasks in the Task List for details.
Promote/demote tasks
Make tasks parent or child tasks by Indenting or Outdenting them.
View critical path
View the critical path from the task list.
Print the Task List and Gantt Chart
Print the Task List and a Gantt chart of the schedule.
Import tasks
Import tasks from Microsoft Project.
Export tasks
Export tasks to a Microsoft Excel file.
